Storspeed’s application-aware caching product is the first to provide a virtual performance layer for applications, guaranteeing consistent application performance regardless of the back-end storage. The Storspeed Solution
SP5000
The SP5000 provides caching and delivery of all NFS/CIFS requests as defined by policy. SP5000s are clustered together for resiliency, to increase the network cache and to scale aggregate performance.
Flow Director
The Flow Director is responsible for client and storage connectivity, filtering and distribution of workflows and cluster connectivity between SP5000s. Multiple Flow Directors are configured to increase the resiliency.
System Manager
The System Manager is the central console for the Storspeed cluster and is responsible for providing three pieces of Storspeed's solution: storage & network visibility; policy creation; and cluster configuration.
Taken together these three components scale application performance to unprecedented levels.
